VATAmerica, LP was formed in 1993 as a limited partnership in New Jersey.
In February, 2006, VATAmerica, LP created a subsidiary, CB VATAmerica LLC, as the US Member Firm of United Cash Back AG (“UCB”). UCB began business in 1993 and consists of several independent offices throughout the EU, Eastern Europe, and Middle East. During 2014, VATAmerica decides to seek a new direction.
In 2015, VATAmerica enters an arrangement with Taxback International (“TBI”) a much larger VAT firm providing global services to large multinationals such as IBM, P&G, Apple and others. TBI’s large-scale systems improve VATAmerica’s engagements with specialized personnel and high-volume, high technology data processing systems.
VATAmerica’s purpose in 1993, 2006 and 2015 remains the same: to eliminate foreign consumption, or value added tax, as a competitive burden to US and other companies by utilizing existing provisions of foreign tax law.
We combine substantial experience in conducting professional tax engagements with a sound working knowledge of corporate information and accounting platforms and the relevant VAT law governing refundability of VAT and other indirect taxes such as excise taxes on jet fuel.
